Here’s a “skitch” (I can see that word in the Oxford dictionary by 2013) of my desktop that took me about 5 seconds to create and to insert into this wordpress article. Alternatively you can click the drag button (osx) and drag the image to your desktop and then attach it to an email. Once that’s done you can tweet or email a link to the image. Once you’ve finished “skitching” (that’s gonna catch on) on a photo or screengrab you simply click the share link and it uploads it to your skitch account.

Skitch integrates with your existing Evernote login so that’s one less password you need to remember. It also allows you to open photos, write or draw on them and send them in an instant. Skitch allows you to grab sections of your screen, quickly draw on them to illustrate something to your recipient and then to send this file in a multitude of formats like jpeg, pdf, gif, bmp, tiff and more and with the utmost of ease. It’s not only available for iPad but is now also available for OSX desktop or macbook users and lest I forget to tell you it’s FREE FREE FREE !!! The iPhone version is also apparently coming soon. Skitch is now part of the Evernote family, the best note app ever and boy oh boy skitch is a real time saver for helping illustrate things very quickly and it’s visual effects are also super cool. I think it came up under featured apps or new apps, can’t exactly remember but what I can say is that this app is super WOW.
